Track your Patreon campaign
One of my (few) complaints about Patreon is that there’s no analytics built into the creator-side dashboard. I’d like to be able to track pledges over time, see declined pledges, project monthly earnings, etc.
Although Patreon hasn’t built in this functionality, one clever person has — and made it available to the public.
It’s called Graphtreon, and it’s very useful.
Simply search for your campaign using the search field at the upper right-hand corner of the site, and you’re off to the races. We’ll use Jeph Jacques’ page as an example.
• Total number of patrons
• Total monthly earnings
• Average support per patron
• Percentage change from previous month — in the number of patrons
• Percentage change from previous month — in total earnings
• Percentage change from previous month — in average support per patron
You can even sign up to receive a month report through e-mail.
Good things to come?
The creator made a subReddit to get feedback on the software and immediately received a response — from Patreon CEO, Jack Conte:
Tom – this is Jack, CEO at Patreon. You are incredible. I’m blown away. I would love to talk with you. How do I get in touch?!
That was a month ago. Hopefully they’re working on incorporating this handy functionality into the main Patreon dashboard. Until then, I’ve got my campaign bookmarked.
