WordPress users: Update your PHP version
If you are using WordPress to host your site, no matter what plugin or system you use to display your comics, the requirement for the version level of PHP has gone up. This is due to the fact that PHP 5.7 is coming out and a lot of things in older versions of PHP are being deprecated.
WordPress requires at least PHP 5.4 to run.
Here’s what you need to know.
To make sure you’re running the highest level php you can, check your cpanel or hosting support to make sure your version of PHP that is on your hosting is at least version 5.4
If your PHP is a version lower than 5.4, you’ll need to upgrade. For hosts such as Dreamhost, you can do this by accessing your host’s control panel. If you don’t see the option in your hosting dashboard, contact customer support and request an upgrade.
Alternately, you may try to find your host’s specific instructions on performing the upgrade yourself. For example. Googling Hostgator’s PHP configuration brought me to this page, which explains how to perform a PHP upgrade yourself.
