Patreon as a Gauge of Reader Feedback
Patreon has proven to be every bit as crucial to the business of modern webcomics as Kickstarter — in fact, for some of us, moreso. But over the past week, I’ve seen a secondary aspect of Patreon that is proving to be almost as useful as its revenue-generating power. In short, the feedback I’m getting from my Patreon supporters is more valuable than the reader-response I get through e-mail, social-media and other means.
And it’s valuable in two important ways.
