The Right Way to Use Reddit

Over the last few years, reddit has remained my largest source of traffic by far. With subreddits like /r/comics and /r/webcomics, reddit can be an invaluable tool to get your comic out there.
What is Reddit?
Reddit is the self-proclaimed “front page of the internet” where users share news articles, images, discussions, and more. Users can submit links, images or text in the various “subreddits,” which are groups that are formed around a particular interest. These posts will move along a ranked feed as time passes and users vote up or down posts. Posts with more upvotes can climb towards the top of the feed and posts that receive downvotes will fall down the page as time passes.
Reddit is not simply a content aggregation site, but a community. That means you have to follow certain rules and maintain good “reddiquette.” It’s not hard to find a community that shares your interests. There are literally hundreds of thousands of subreddits out there. That too can be used to your advantage when trying to reach new readers.
There are a few ways to post your comic to reddit. You can either submit a link to your site’s comic or post your comic to Imgur and submit it from there. I do both, and you may want to consider doing one or the other depending on the subreddit.
The content you are trying to access is only available to members.
