I’ve been working on site redesigns recently and I was struck how similar what I’m seeing is to my own websites from back in the 90’s/00’s. Especially when I look at landing page designs. I used to build those all the time. Fun times.

Quick question for the folks who have made the move: where did you start your comic on WT? At the beginning? The latest comic, or somewhere in between? I’m vexed.

I was just thinking about color saturation the other night while I was finishing the latest comic. I toned down the background a lot, but tit still quite work. I agree about that black column too. My fault for recycling an old background (bad Bob!).
I reread this week’s comic, and you’re absolutely right. I could have used the first bubble in panel 1 and the last bubble in panel 2, jettisoned the bubbles in between, and it would have read just fine (actually better). Writing is one of my big areas for improvement this year, so this really hit home.
Thanks again!

caseyatthebatcomic.comBob GlasscockParticipantHey Matt – Yeah, I’m pretty much in your path 1. I’ve decided to push the Kickstarter back in order to have everything in place to offer both books 1 and 2. I’ll do a small run of each ahead of time for the shows I’m exhibiting at this fall.
